I have been using it almost daily ever since. It takes about 7 pumps, then you can start misting. I currently use extra virgin olive oil with it. It has a good amount of mist and I don’t feel like I’m using too much oil while cooking.
I like that the outside is clear so you can see the level and the mist is very fine as expected and has remained that way over time (the other brand I previously had would often come out in a stream instead of a mist).
I liked this product so much I actually recently bought a second one that I put balsamic vinegar in to spray over roasted brussel sprouts or on salads with a spray of the oil and vinegar. It works great for salad because the mist of the oil/vinegar spreads it out over the salad evenly without much need for tossing (as long as it is a single salad and not a large/deep bowl), and I use much less oil/vinegar and spare myself unnecessary high calorie dressings.
I recently found a coconut white balsamic vinegar that I have been enjoying over a salad with fruit/nuts. I am probably going to end up buying another ones of these for that.
It’s been nearly a month now and I’ve used this mister many, many times. Here’s the deal. They care enough to give you written instructions about how to use the mister. Okay, that may not seem like a big deal, but when you’ve tried everything the human mind is capable of imagining with several other misters that work like a chain being pushed up hill you’re grateful for anything.
Bottom line: It works brilliantly. Exactly the way the others were advertised to function, but didn’t. This one, I’m happy to say, delivers! It may not be a man on the moon, but it’s better than Tang.
